Hancock Park, California-The stately home of Gary and Arsine Phillips served as the location for a dinner reception under the stars on a beautiful fall evening on September 15, 2006. The reception served as both a social mixer and a fund raising event for the Armenian Bar Association’s law student scholarship fund. Over 100 judges, attorneys, law students and guests attended the reception. Over $3,000.00 was raised at the event.
“The reception was yet another successful event for our organization, and reinforced our commitment to assisting Armenian law students in the United States and Armenia, ” said Betty Jamgotchian, Executive Director of the Armenian Bar Association. “We are very happy to once again provide an avenue for our colleagues in the legal community to meet, exchange ideas, and become educated about our goals,” said Jamgotchian.
