Welcome to the Armenian Bar Association

The Armenian Bar Association was formed in 1989 to provide an arena for lawyers of Armenian heritage to come together socially and professionally and to address the legal concerns of the Armenian community.

Mid-Year Report by the Chair

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The Armenian Bar Association held one of its most successful and productive annual meetings from April 29-May 1, 2011, in the wonderful City of San Francisco. We met and visited with the new Chief Justice of the California Supreme Court, the Honorable Tani Cantil-Sakauye. We also had the honor of hosting and exchanging ideas about Armenia/Diaspora cooperation with the Justice Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Hrayr Tovmasyan. In between these exciting and groundbreaking events, there were many other honored guests, superb lectures and fascinating discussions of legal issues of current interest to Armenian legal professionals. You can find more information about these and other of our events, which I will only outline here, in further detail by visiting our website www.armenbar.org.. more
